CVS & Walgreens Trip - 9/9/12

Today I went to CVS and Walgreens in Georgetown to get just a few good deals that I saw this week.

First I went to CVS. I needed paper towels and tissues, so I took advantage of the deal on the front page of the ad (pictured below) to score a good deal. Check it out:

I bought:

• (2) Bounty 12 rolls, $9.94ea (included in deal to left)
• (4) Puffs Plus Lotion Tissues 124ct, $1.50ea  (included in deal to left)
• (1) Zantac 150 24ct, $8.99 (get $2 ECB)

I used:

• (1) $1/1 Bounty Paper Towels MFG Coupon (previously mailed to me from vocalpoint.com)
• (1) $0.25/1 Bounty Paper Towels or Napkins MFG Coupon from PG 8/26
• (4) $0.75/1 Any Puffs Tissues MFG Coupon - limit 4 per transaction (from coupons inside notebooks bought here - coupons detailed at bottom of post)
• (1) $5/1 Zantac MFG Coupon from ALL YOU Magazine
• $15 in ECB from previous transactions

Total OOP: $11.53 w/ tax PLUS I got back $13 in ECB ($10 for spending $25 on products to left, $2 from Zantac, & $1 from Green Bag Tag)

After discounts, that is like spending:

• $5.59 on each 12 pack of Bounty Paper Towels
• $0.4658 per roll
• $0.0154 per SQ FT
• $0.45 on each box of Puffs Tissues
• $0.003629 per tissue

Next I went to Walgreens and got a couple things.

I bought:

• (1) Fusion Proglide Power Razor, $9.99ea (get $4 RR back on 1)
• (2) Suave Naturals Shampoo, $1ea (get $2 RR back on 2)
• (2) Oral-B Indicator Toothbrushes, $1.50ea (get $1 RR back on 2)

I used:

• (1) $4/1 Fusion Razor MFG Coupon from SS 8/12
• (1) $1/2 Oral-B Indicator Toothbrushes MFG Coupon
• (2) $3 RRs
• (1) $1 RR

Total OOP: $3.24 w/ tax PLUS I got back $7 in RR ($4 from Fusion, $2 from Suave, $1 from Oral-B)
