ReplyDeleteSavingStar is a site that is affiliated with certain stores that have loyalty/membership cards. In the Georgetown area, CVS is the only store that has a loyalty card and is affiliated with the program. I have contacted them about Walgreens and they said they are working with them to hopefully get things set up soon. As for Randalls in Round Rock, they told me that Safeway is not yet part of their program and they have no plans as of right now to be. So, we are stuck with CVS. Good for some things (like what I did this past week), but not so good for groceries. What happens is you sign up for an account through SavingStar and link your CVS card(s). Before you go shopping, you have to "activate" certain deals on the SavingStar website while you are logged in. Then, you can go shopping and your rewards will be added to your account if you reach the requirements of the offer that you activated. Once you reach a $5 threshold, you can pick a payout of a paypal or amazon gift card. Paypal is easy because you can just transfer the money to your bank account. They are usually pretty fast about adding the money to your SavingStar account as well, I already got mine from Sunday! Hope that helps!
